Free Blue Marble Ice Cream!

Celebrate the holidays at the Museum of the City of New York with our holiday tradition of FREE Blue Marble ice cream and a sleigh-full of winter-themed activities for children of all ages and NYC exhibitions for everyone.

The Brooklyn-based Blue Marble is New York City’s only certified organic ice cream company. To receive FREE ice cream, visitors must mention the “Holiday Ice Cream promotion” or use the promo code “IScreamMuseum” at the Museum admission desk upon arrival. Offer is good while supplies last throughout the week of Saturday, December 24 through Saturday, December 31. Museum is closed Christmas Day.

You will also have a chance to see Santa and the City, a festive and informative display showing how New Yorkers helped create the Santa Claus that’s known today around the world. Engaging and educational programs offered throughout the holiday that are fun for the whole family include Hanukkah Family Day, a celebration of Kwanzaa, winter scene painting, winter window decorating with cellophane stained glass, and the chance for children to make their own snowflakes and snow globes.
