Water Color Painting

Water, water, all around our city! Join us for a day of painting inspired by the gorgeous waterways of New York City. Explore the exhibition New York at Its Core and images from our collections portal to discover the city’s many bodies of water, such as the Harlem Meer. Work with watercolor paints and wax-resist techniques to create a unique view of the city from your perspective.
Family programs are free with Museum admission and for members, geared to families with children ages 6-12 years old, and include a snack. Activities are designed for adults and children to complete together.
