The 11th Annual International Puerto Rican Heritage Film Festival (IPRHFF) returns to NYC November 10 – 14, 2021 with an impressive roster of films, shorts, animation, and panel discussions with industry thought leaders. The five-day festival aims to foster a collaborative environment for artists from all countries to explore issues inherent to the heritage of Puerto Rico, its diaspora, and explore stories relevant to the larger Latino community. IPRHFF programming will be held at various locations throughout Harlem and the Lower East Side in New York City. For more information, click here.

All things New York can be all things Puertorriqueño. The Museum of the City of New York is proud to host a full day of IPRHFF programming on Saturday, November 13th. As seen through her son’s eyes, Conversations Between Shift chronicles the journey of an ICU nurse during Covid. The 2:00pm block will present Takeover, as the Young Lords stormed the dilapidated Lincoln Hospital in the South Bronx. Coping with isolation in She Saved Me or fighting typecasting in The Audition, life isn’t always cut and dry in the Drama Shorts and Es Complicado block. To close out the evening, the After Dark selection will leave you in suspense.
