June 8 Chancellor’s Day: Water Ways

From pre-colonial times to today, water has shaped the city’s history. In partnership with the Department of Environmental Protection, join us for a day examining the history of water and learn how it has impacted the city’s growth.

This Chancellor’s Day is held in conjunction with New York at Its Core, the first exhibition to present the compelling story of New York’s rise from a striving Dutch village to today’s “Capital of the World,” a preeminent global city now facing the future in a changing world.
All participating educators receive a letter of attendance.
