Movies for Minis / Películas Para Minis

On Thursday, April 13 from 11am to 4pm, MCNY and the International Puerto Rican Heritage Film Festival (IPRHFF) co-present Movies for Minis / Películas Para Minis at the Museum of the City of New York! Geared towards families with children ages 5 – 12 years old, this bilingual film festival features short films in both English and Spanish created by artists celebrating their Latin American roots and culture. We will screen two different blocks of short films, including animated shorts, that your whole family can enjoy!
Block A is geared towards children ages 5 - 8 featuring:

Event Timeline:
- 11am - 12pm: First session of Block A screening.
- 12pm - 1:15pm: First session of Block B screening
- 1:45pm - 2:45pm: Second session of Block A screening
- 2:45pm - 4pm: Second session of Block B screening
The incredible roster of artists and filmmakers that created these projects are presented by the International Puerto Rican Heritage Film Festival, whose aim is to explore issues inherent to the heritage of Puerto Rico, its diaspora, and stories relevant to the larger Latino community.
Included with Museum admission, this family activity is geared toward children ages 5 – 12. Pre-registration is recommended!
