Visit the exhibition Activist New York to discover how New Yorkers have fought for freedom and equality over the past 350 years. After learning about the different activist movements in our city, and activists such as Milton Galamison, Ella Baker, and Bayard Rustin, create your own protest button (July 22) or poster (July 24) for an issue that you wish to see improve.

Family programs are free with Museum admission and for Members, and geared toward families with children ages 6–12 years old. Activities are designed for adults and children to complete together.

Registration suggested, but not required.
