Sense-ational Spring: Wreath Making

What does spring feel, smell, and taste like in the city? Get hands-on and explore various aromas and textures of plants that can be found blooming all over our city at this time. Then use these elements as inspiration to create a seasonal wreath for your home.
Family programs are free with Museum admission and for Members, geared toward families with children ages 6-12 years old, and include a snack. Activities are designed for adults and children to complete together.
Registration suggested but not required.

Join us for drop-in activities for ages 5-12 as we celebrate the vibrant culture and traditions of the Lenape, the First People of the New York City region. Examine historical objects, uncover fascinating stories behind NYC neighborhood and place names, and craft your own corn husk doll. 11am-4pm, every Saturday and Sunday in November.

Join the Museum's artist-in-residence Manny Vega for a live art making workshop building off the themes of our exhibition, Byzantine Bembé: New York by Manny Vega.
Storytime for Littles
Join us for a Storytime program for children ages 3 to 5 years and hear stories and songs about NYC facilitated by a museum educator. Included with admission. 11:30am-12pm, every second Saturday and third Sunday.
