NYC Love Stories: Valentine’s Day

Love is all around the city. In celebration of Valentine’s Day, join us for a special family scavenger hunt throughout to find objects such as the original “I ❤ NY” sketch. Then write a love letter using creative shapes inspired by what you find!
Registration suggested, though not required.
Family programs are free with Museum admission and for members, geared to families with children ages 6-12 years old, and include a snack. Programs are designed for adults and children to complete the activities together.

Join us for drop-in activities for ages 5-12 as we celebrate the vibrant culture and traditions of the Lenape, the First People of the New York City region. Examine historical objects, uncover fascinating stories behind NYC neighborhood and place names, and craft your own corn husk doll. 11am-4pm, every Saturday and Sunday in November.

Join the Museum's artist-in-residence Manny Vega for a live art making workshop building off the themes of our exhibition, Byzantine Bembé: New York by Manny Vega.
Storytime for Littles
Join us for a Storytime program for children ages 3 to 5 years and hear stories and songs about NYC facilitated by a museum educator. Included with admission. 11:30am-12pm, every second Saturday and third Sunday.
