Cinco de Mayo: Calpulli Mexican Performance

Join us for a special family performance with interactive narration in celebration of the rich diversity of Mexican and Mexican-American cultural heritage presented by Calpulli Mexican Dance Company. Listen to traditional Mexican music while you decorate your own New York-inspired picado banner to take home with you. Enjoy a taste of Mexican cuisine with a free snack!
The performance will take place promptly from 3:00-4:00pm
Registration suggested, though not required.
Family programs are free with Museum admission and for members, geared to families with children ages 6-12 years old, and include a snack. Programs are designed for adults and children to complete the activities together.

Join us for drop-in activities for ages 5-12 as we celebrate the vibrant culture and traditions of the Lenape, the First People of the New York City region. Join us for a Storytime program for children ages 3 to 5 years and hear stories and songs about NYC facilitated by a museum educator. Included with admission. 11:30am-12pm, every second Saturday and third Sunday.
