New York at Its Core Educator Preview Day
This event has passed.
Five years in the making, New York at Its Core is the first-ever museum show to comprehensively interpret and present the compelling story of New York’s history, and will occupy the Museum’s entire first floor displaying hundreds of rare objects in three interactive galleries: Port City, 1609-1898, World City, 1898-2012, and Future City Lab.
Ten days before this greatly anticipated exhibition opens to the public, educators are invited to join us for a full day of FREE programming, including tours, hands-on workshops, scholar talks, and the opportunity to learn about upcoming events for teachers, students, and families in the new school year.
Participation in this Chancellor's Day professional development event counts towards maintaining professional certification from the New York City Department of Education.
