Midwinter Recess Family Activities @ MCNY
The Museum of the City of New York welcomes children of all ages and their families to join us this midwinter break for activities for all to enjoy!
Inspired by the art and life of Manny Vega, whose work is on view in the Museum, we’ll celebrate world cultures of New York City with art activities, story time, and music and movement.
Drop in anytime! Activities will take place from 11am–3pm. See below to register.

Pick up a scavenger hunt and visit the exhibitions Byzantine Bembé: New York by Manny Vega and New York at Its Core: World City.
Arts & Crafts
Ongoing, 11am–3pm
Participate in arts and crafts activities inspired by the artistic process of Manny Vega. Create a variety of objects to take home – from mosaics to watercolors – with a different activity each day.
Storytime @ MCNY
Daily, 11 am
StoryTime @ MCNY is a free, drop-in, picture-book reading series geared towards children ages 3 to 5 and their grownups. This week, join us for stories that celebrate the many world cultures in New York City. Pre-registration is recommended but not required.
