Ring in the holiday season at the Museum of the City of New York and join us for a family day of seasonal fun and activities!  

Highlights of the Day
Time: 1:00 PM – 4:00 PM

  • Snap a memorable photo with Santa Claus in front of our cozy, holiday-themed fireplace!
  • Explore our hit installation, Gingerbread NYC, featuring spectacular gingerbread displays crafted by top bakeries and amateur bakers from all the five boroughs.
  • Get creative with a hands-on gingerbread cookie decorating activity, featuring delicious cookies and toppings provided by Amy's Bread.
  • Dive into holiday-themed learning and exploration in our interactive NYC Discovery Lab.

For Families Saturday, November 9, 11:00am

NYC Discovery Lab – Native New York

Join us for drop-in activities for ages 5-12 as we celebrate the vibrant culture and traditions of the Lenape, the First People of the New York City region. Examine historical objects, uncover fascinating stories behind NYC neighborhood and place names, and craft your own corn husk doll. 11am-4pm, every Saturday and Sunday in November.
