Celebrate Pride at our June edition of Cocktails & Culture! Dance the night away to the sounds of veteran New York DJ Chauncey D, spinning a versatile selection of house and dance beats throughout the evening. Catch exciting drag performances from Hibiscus and Mary Muscles. Enjoy themed cocktails cocktails and other libations from the MCNY Bar, plus delicious light bites from our pop-up cafe.  

All Museum galleries will be open, including our brand new centennial exhibition, This is New York: 100 Years of the City in Art and Pop Culture (opens May 26).

About DJ Chauncey D:
DJ Chauncey D has been a sound selector for just about every queer bar in New York City throughout his 20-plus year career from the East Village to the West Village and beyond, from Rockbar to Nowhere, Hell’s Kitchen to Brooklyn. An eight-time Glam Award nominee, he has provided the soundscape for The Urban Bear Street Fair and Folsom Street East as well as hosting his annual Madonna Worship Night celebrating its 15th year! In 2020, he brought his notorious party to Lisbon to coincide with her Madame X Tour stops in Portugal.

Since 2013, Chauncey has enjoyed a residency at the legendary Stonewall Inn as in-house tech and DJ for drag shows, cabaret performances, parties, and more. Aside from DJing, he produces a monthly variety show called “Freak Out” and has teamed up with Montreal pop star Van Hechter to release an EP on original tracks available on Spotify and wherever else you find your music. Throughout the years he has lent his talents and platform to countless fundraisers and causes and is one of the producers of the annual New York Dance Parade and Festival each May.
