Future City Lab: New York's Water III
This is the third in a three-lesson series on water in New York City. The first reviews the process of the water cycle and explains how water gets brought to the city via aqueducts and pipes. The second reviews how much water is used, how students can conserve water, and how water-efficient consumer products positively impact the environment. This lesson demonstrates the natural processes of filtration and absorption and discusses how they can be harnessed in green infrastructure.
