The Museum of the City of New York invites children ages 5-12 to our hands-on art making series, Art in the City. These sessions are inspire by the range of materials used by artists in our centennial show, This is New York: 100 Years of the City in Art and Pop Culture.

Virtual Student Workshops
In this virtual workshop, students will hear from multidisciplinary artist Amanda Phingbodhipakkiya and examine the resiliency of New York's Asian American and Pacific Islander community and their solidarity across past and present activist movements through the stories of Yuri Kochiyama and Malcolm X.

This workshop series for educators examines the historical roots of today’s movements for change.
