Starlight Circle: gifts of $1,250 or more
The Starlight Circle is the Museum of the City of New York’s premier patron group, named after the dazzling focal point of the Museum’s entryway. Comprised of patrons who deeply value the Museum’s mission to celebrate, document and interpret the City’s past, present and future, members of the Starlight Circle are ambassadors who shine a light on our institution. This engaged group of supporters enjoy an array of benefits including invitations to curator-led VIP tours, priority reservations to all Museum public programming, and access to members-only events with other cultural institution partners.
Library Membership
The Museum of the City of New York is pleased to offer two membership levels for local and public libraries that provide their patrons access to our exhibitions and programming, as well as discounts in our Museum Shop and café. Additional benefits include a subscription to the Museum’s scholarly journal, and invitations to exclusive Member events.
Museum membership for IDNYC card holders
The Museum of the City of New York is offering all IDNYC card holders a free Individual membership for one year. To redeem your membership, please complete this online form, and visit us within 30 days of registering to activate your complimentary membership. The Museum is open daily from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Please be sure to bring your valid IDNYC card with you to confirm your membership.
