The Museum offers a variety of ways for families and communities to explore New York City through our signature programs, including the NYC Discovery Lab, Storytime for Tots, Storytime for Littles, scavenger hunts, and more. Storytime for Littles
Join us for a Storytime program for children ages 3 to 5 years and hear stories and songs about NYC facilitated by a museum educator. Included with admission. 11:30am-12pm, every second Saturday and third Sunday.
Roots and Rise: A NYC Black History Celebration
Join the MCNY and the NYC Public Advocates Office this Black History Month as we celebrate the rich and vibrant legacy of Black culture, history, and contributions to New York City.
Storytime for Tots
Join us for a free bilingual Storytime program for children ages 18 months to 3 years and their grownups and hear stories and songs about NYC facilitated by a NYPL librarian. Free. 10:30am-11am, every third Thursday.
