GOTHAM DREAMS

Each spring, the Museum of the City of New York gathers some of New York’s most influential philanthropists who share a deep love for our city. On June 11, 2025, the Museum will celebrate the city's impact on film and television with a glamorous gala at Cipriani 42nd Street, welcoming 400 key producers, investors, actors, and leaders from the industry. The evening will spotlight MCNY's permanent exhibition, You Are Here: An Immersive Film Experience, created by Radical Media, as well as the Museum's extensive collection of film, television, and theater artifacts.

DIRECTOR'S CIRCLE BENEFIT  

In 2022 MCNY launched the Director's Circle, a leadership committee geared towards young patrons, under the age of 35, who have made New York City their home. This group of professionals from industries including finance, marketing, tech, arts & culture and more, are dedicated to the mission of the Museum and serve as a platform for the next generation of supporters.  

The Director's Circle hosts an annual benefit every September. The benefits hosts over 500 guests and features an open bar, world-famous DJ FLO, dancing under the stars, and NYC culture in our exhibitions. More information to come on the 2025 Benefit.
