Thomas Edison and Louis Comfort Tiffany – two giants of invention and creativity in the Gilded Age – enjoyed an enduring friendship, and collaborated on the Lyceum Theatre of Fourth Avenue, the first theater to be fully electrically lit. Join architectural historian Francis Morrone for an illustrated lecture on these two creative Gilded Age titans from strikingly different backgrounds, whose parallel careers lit up the world around them.
