Online sales for this program are now closed. If you are interested in attending, please come to the Museum at 6pm and tickets will be available for purchase at the door.
Join NY1 anchor Elizabeth Kaledin for a conversation with four community leaders working in areas of the city severely affected by the hurricane. Lisa Jones, Director of Hurricane Sandy Relief for Brooklyn Community Services in Coney Island; Judi Orlando of the Astella Development Corporation in Coney Island; Joseph Pupello of Zone A New York; and Ismene Speliotis of the Mutual Housing Association of New York will discuss their work, what still needs to be done to restore their neighborhoods, and how government and non-profits can be better prepared for future storms.
Following the panel, contributing artist/photographer Larry Racioppo will lead a brief tour of his work in the Rising Waters exhibition. There will also be an informal wine reception.

Cosponsored by the Mutual Housing Association of New York and Zone A New York and presented in conjunction with Rising Waters: Photographs of Sandy.

Free for Museum members; $12 for students and seniors; $16 general public.
