Museum in the Park: Make a Machine

Throughout history, New Yorkers have used machines to help them in their daily lives, from apple corers to stock tickers. Explore images from our exhibition New York at Its Core to see iconic objects from New York City’s history, then use our materials to design a machine of your own!

This free Family Program takes place in Cherry Tree Playground (99th St. to 100th St., Third Avenue) and is geared to families with children ages 6-12 years old, and includes a snack. Activities are designed for adults and children to complete together.
