Lunar New Year Performance

Gung Hay Fat Choy! Come ring in the Lunar New Year with the Museum of the City of New York as we celebrate the coming of the Year of the Rooster. Join us for a special Lion Dance performance by Columbia University Lion Dance to learn about traditional stories around the holiday. Then enjoy a special snack and make a lantern to take home.
Activities from 11am-1pm. The performance begins promptly at 1pm. Please arrive early to claim a seat.
Registration suggested, though not required.
Family programs are free with Museum admission and for members, geared to families with children ages 6-12 years old, and include a snack. Programs are designed for adults and children to complete the activities together.
