2019 Chairman’s Leadership Award Dinner

Each year, the Museum of the City of New York presents the Chairman’s Leadership Award to an outstanding corporate citizen in recognition of their contributions to the life and well being of New York City. In 2019, we proudly presented the award to James G. Dinan, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer, York Capital Management. Dinan has been Chairman of MCNY since 2006. During his tenure he oversaw a $97 million capital campaign that modernized and expanded the Museum’s landmark building, and championed the installation of the $10 million award-winning multi-media exhibition of the city’s 400 year history, New York at Its Core and its Future City Lab enabling the realization of the institution as the best City museum in the world.
